Ideas For Selling

There are many ways to sell and promote your Spirit Fundraiser. Common ways include:

• Selling to family members
• Selling to friends
• Selling to neighbors
• Parents selling to coworkers
• Selling outside a store (with store manager’s permission)

Remember to practice safety when selling your Spirit Product (don’t sell to strangers or go
door-to-door), and remember to smile and remind people how much money they can save by using their Spirit Product!

Here’s what to say:

“My name is ____________ and I’m with the Peru High School Band (insert group or team name here.) We’re selling Spirit Cards to raise money for our trip to Florida this year. (hand a card to the prospect.) The Spirit Cards are only $10 and offer savings all year when you present it to a business listed on the card. How many would you like?

(remember to smile and thank the person for their time or if they buy a card or two from you!)
